JHKA Congratulates our FIRST BRITISH INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION!

Congratulations to all squad members that made selection to this years British International Open Championships held at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Centre, Scotland. This event is the highest ranked competition in Britain and one that is open to all nationalities.

A huge congratulations to A J.Campbell who fought brilliantly to win the title and become JHKA’s first ever British International Open Champion. A J.Campbell won his final fight an impressive 8-0 in the boys 7-9 years kumite category. Fantastic result and well deserved.

Our current English Kyu Grade Silver Medallist J.Ward also added another national medal to his 2019 tally. Very well done J.Ward who is now a British International Bronze medallist in the same boys 7-9 years kumite category. Consistency is key.

To finish off a great day for the team, our 10-11 years girls won a bronze medal in the team kumite category. Well done M.Syrichas, M.Khiyar and K.Ubor.

A big thank you to Frontier Karate Association for supporting our club members at this event and a very well done to JHKA, a great team win.
