What a fantastic afternoon we had at the competition, very well done to each and every student that attended and took part 👍🏻
J Baldock displayed some amazing kicks to win GOLD in kumite and GOLD in slam man! Showing some great talent for the future! 🥊
R Chapman with fantastic Kimae, fantastic Zanshin and sharp technique beat a 1st KYU brown belt in the Kata final for 7-10 years to take GOLD! 🥋
Z Chapman fought extremely well in the 7-10 years kumite, he made us all very proud and showed that he can overcome his fears and also beat a brown belt with a Ura Mawashi geri to win GOLD! 🏅
Special mention to our first timer O Collins who did great to win a bronze medal on his first time competing! This is where it all starts and a great learning experience 👌🏻
Would also like to say a huge well done to K Ross who we can all describe as a brilliant member of the club, a great improvement in his kumite, pushing forward and scoring some important opposite punches, very professional little bow on the mat and straight into yoi! 👏🏻
J Snedker, J and J Rakaj, H Paynter, K Vekaria and T Barrett-Shaw, you are performing better and better each time and your confidence shines through. Keep it up boys! Thank you to H Paynter’s mum for cheering all of the competitors, excellent 👍🏻
