JHKA Athletes selected for World Karate Federation (WKF) Under 12 Youth Cup in Porec, Croatia 2023

FANTASTIC ANNOUNCEMENT

We are extremely pleased to announce to all members of our club that the instructors have been seeking sponsorship and fund raising behind the scenes for our biggest opportunity yet!

Four talented athletes from JHKA Karate will be flying over to Porec, Croatia to take part in a World Karate Federation Youth Camp (3 days) headed by some of the best Karate Ka in the World!!

Our selected athletes will also be given the opportunity to compete at the highest level competition in the world for youth (U12). They will compete in the World Karate Federation (WKF) Under 12 and Under 21 Youth Cup. This Youth Cup has athletes entered from all over the world.

WKF Youth Training Camp Coaches:

Damian Quintero – Spain (Olympic Silver Medallist and Seven times European Kata Champion)

Douglas Brose – Brazil (Three times World Kumite Champion)

Stanislav Horuna – Ukraine (Olympic Bronze Medallist – Kumite)

Angelo Kvesic – Croatia (Multiple European Champion +84kg Kumite)

We are extremely grateful to have found some fantastic companies to sponsor us and we have been able to pay for our squads return flight tickets, accommodation and event squad tops and shorts for all selected athletes.
