JHKA wins a Silver and two Bronze medals at the British 4 Nations Championships

Congratulations to all athletes at J Honeywood Karate Academy and Frontier Karate Association who fought at the British Karate Federation (BKF) 4 Nations Championships.

Congratulations to M. Syrichas progressing through 4 rounds in the girls 12-13 +40kg category. Maria did not drop any points in the entire event and narrowly missed out in the final on judges decision as it finished 0-0. Maria is now an individual British National Silver Medalist.

Congratulations to K. Ubor also progressing through 4 rounds in the girls 12-13 +40kg category. Khemilya beat Scotland in her first round and also beat an athlete currently on the England National Team. Khemilya unfortunately didn’t win her semi-final fight however she won a well deserved bronze medal. Khemilya is now an individual British National Bronze Medalist.

Congratulations to I. Silina who competed in the Female Veteran Kumite category. Silina won a bronze medal and now adds to her English Silver medal. A fantastic example of a parent inspiring her children to win at this level.

Finally, a huge congratulations to K. Yogarajah winning a gold medal in the boys 14-15 years category. Kobe beat fighters from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland and is now the current British 4 Nations Champion. Well done to coach, Sensei A. Everitt for your new British Champion.

A great day for Frontier Karate Association. Well done to all involved.
